WIP and Thankful Thursday!

I am thankful for many things...first my wonderful family, here in this house and those throughout the state (and beyond)
I'm thankful for impromptu visits from my mom (and corn, I do love corn)
I'm thankful for the sense of humor of my kids
and their very distinct personalities (this is Natalie's movie star look)
I'm thankful for my youthful mother who taught me how to have fun (and how to be a good mother), not matter how silly you look to everyone else
I'm thankful for the park, even if people are getting their cars broken into I can't let that keep me away... until they break into mine, right?
My work in Progress this week... COLOR.. added to our very bland house
This is the guest room upstairs, that my wonderful MIL is bringing me a bedroom set for this weekend. So there will actually be somewhere for guests to stay.
It looks good, I love the color!
and I love seeing it when I come up the stairs
Oh I'm also thankful to the kindness of strangers.  My mom saw this on someones porch with a 'donate' sign on it, so she left a note and her number asking them to donate it to her daughter. It's just perfect for all my fabric!
My craft/sewing space is coming together, don't mind the mess, it has all the stuff from the guest room in it too... I love having my own creative space!!  Happy week everyone.  I'll be back for this moment tomorrow then I have to hurry and get the last of the stuff done for Aiden's birthday on Wednesday.  I can't believe he's going to be 4!!  Where has the time gone!!

Thakful Thursday

Things I am loving right now...

Summer Reading programs at the Library... yep he's juggling knives on a tight rope.
Finding new parks that feel like they are all ours
Showing the kids wildlife
Taking the dog for a swim, and she found a friend to swim with
these boys of mine (watching a helicopter)
My garden, no matter how small an un-productive (I do get a handful of strawberries a day)
a kind of organized fabric stash... (oh that's not all of it... )
my craft room...yeah, Aiden fixed the blind for me.. looks good huh?  It's messy but the rest of my house is clean, I get to have a messy place to create!
Natalie's new Kitchen Helper
my two little helpers
and... making strawberry jam with my family, at the beach.  We're off to Ryan's to make jam so please excuse our absence, we'll be Jamming!  Happy Weekend to you and yours.
